We're able to repair any durable medical equipment. We mostly do repairs at our store. However, we are able to go to the location of the DME and possibly work on it there. Your more extensive problems will need to come back to my shop. For home service calls, we do charge $55, payable at time of arrival.

Yes, we sell the battery you need.

MK Batteries are mostly made in the U.S.A.

There is a core charge of $25, which is refundable when we receive the old set of batteries. REMEMBER, power wheelchairs usually require two batteries. When one of them is bad, you must replace both. Otherwise, your wheelchair will not work properly. The longevity of your battery depends on the depth of the charge to get it back to 100%. Here is a chart to guide you on how long a battery will last.

Can You Overcharge a Power Chair or Mobility Scooter Battery? Simply put, no you cannot overcharge your battery. With the majority of batteries now fitted with a cut-off point, you can have peace of mind that your battery will turn off as soon as it is fully charged. Keep in mind, if you buy an after market charger and it has the wrong specifications, you CAN overcharge and overheat the batteries. Please, Do yourself a favor and fully charge your batteries every night. This will help your batteries last longer.

Depth of Discharge vs Number of Cycles:
